  • Nick Hawkins is a photojournalist and wildlife cameraman specializing in natural history, science and conservation related issues. A biologist by training, Nick believes that photography and story telling are key components of conservation.

    As an assignment photographer working throughout the world, Nick has produced stories for National Geographic, Canadian Geographic, BBC Wildlife Magazine and Canadian Wildlife Magazine. Nick is the underwater cameraman for the National Film Board of Canada’s “Ocean School” project; a groundbreaking educational experience that uses powerful storytelling techniques, immersive technologies and interactive media to teach youth about the ocean.
